I’m a self-proclaimed expert just like you. I just own the domain name.
Film is set to be released in early November.
The title for Underoath’s next full-length, which the band recently wrapped up work on, has been revealed. The album is set to be released on September 2, 2008….
The album will be called, Lost In The Sound Of Separation, and its eventual release on long-time label(s) Solid State / Tooth & Nail will follow up 2006’s well-received Define The Great Line.
Incomparable Glassjaw mastermind Justin Beck (very) recently talked to fansite Glassjaw.net.
Thirteen songs have been written for their long overdue full-length album, for which Beck promises a “release well before the end of the year.”
While Beck answers a question wondering where hype could be derived from, he goes on to say that they are taking things to the next level and that of course there is going to be a bunch of hype because it will be that great….
Here is one of their more well known songs, “Cosmopolitan Blood Loss”:
I came across this video by net neutrality activists. According to them, the freedom of expression and content that the internet provides so many of us on a daily basis is in serious jeopardy. They report that well known content providers and internet service providers are entering into contractual negotiations and plans to modify internet access into a format like that of cable television, where subscribers (i.e. you and me) will be forced to purchase internet access packages with limited access to content (only the most popular sites) and where fees would apply should you want to visit a site outside of the package (i.e. a small website like this one). Can you imagine a world in 4 years where you have to pay to check your email, pay to blog, pay to google something, pay to get a map from mapquest, pay (more) to bid on ebay?

Speed Racer is sure to polarize audiences. I haven’t seen the film yet but I have high expectations for it and so does many others.
The movie is intended to be a lot more fun than you ever could have expected. The Wachowski Brothers have created a live action anime that is bright, and visually stimulating. The Wachowski Brothers have created a film unlike anything that has ever been seen before. You have to respect this film from a pure filmmaking perspective. I would even go as far as saying that Speed Racer is a great movie. But at the end of the day, it’s still just a great movie about Speed Racer.
Therefore, before you start judging the film and tell all your friends how stupid it looks, you should analyze the movie for what it is and that is taking film to the next level. I think the movie is going to be great and I have become highly perturbed with those people who think other wise since its a very narrow minded view.
By the way, I am not excited whatsoever for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull since it is totally over rated. It is probably going to be the biggest disappointment since it is such an unnecessary sequel. People are ripping Indian Jones up all over the internet saying its crap. I don’t know I thought it was just me who felt this way but seems others do too.
Go see Speed Racer!!! Here is the first 7 min. of the movie….
Browsing the internet today I stumbled upon the real deal. There have been many fakes out there of the new, highly anticipated Death Cab album, Narrow Stairs, but there has finally been a real copy of the album leaked out onto the internet last night. So all you music pirates out there go get that new album since it has been said that it could be the album of the year!!! I can’t post the link to the torrent file since that could come back and haunt me but it is out there…
Here is their music video from the album of the song, “I will possess your heart”….

Lately, I have got a whole bunch of new albums that I can’t stop listening to. From Washington, DC, Georgie James, is one of the many bands that I have found myself listening to continuously. Here is a music video of the song, Need Your Needs, off of their new album Places which has been leaked out onto the internet…

A video of a man stuck in an elevator for 41 hours. From, of all places, the New Yorker:
Nick Paumgarten writes about the lives of elevators, and tells the story of Nicholas White, who was trapped in an elevator in New York City’s McGraw-Hill building for forty-one hours. Here is a condensed look at White’s ordeal, as captured by the building’s security cameras.
