Last night I had the opportunity to go check out Deerhunter at the 40 Watt in Athens, GA. I was really stoked to check out this band and see what kind of show they would put on. The night started off with the crappy opening band where I sat there in the sofas in the back and I wanted to kill myself to stop my ears from bleeding ferociously. However, Deerhunter finally came on late into the night and the crowd was defiantly anxious to see what these guys were going to do tonight.

When Deerhunter started playing a whisper in the crowd began as people wondered what was wrong with the lead singer, Brandon Cox. Is he anorexic? Is he a crack addict? When actually Bradford Cox suffers from Marfan Syndrome. But I mean don’t give the guy sympathy since they rocked so hard they busted my spleen last night. All in all it was a pretty rad show and was defiantly worth going to, which sucks for you if you didn’t make it. Here are some pics to try and catch a glimpse of the awesomeness.
